In the winter of 2016, SAIC Maxus organized a RV80 trip to south China’s Hainan province, with three selected participating families. The event was also aired on China’s Travel Channel.

In addition, RV80 is the first domestic RV to have a 6AMT gearbox, which is capable of automatically changing gear ratios as the vehicle moves. Also, RV80 has an optimized chassis and suspension for superior handling on rough roads.
